Glasshouse at Clumber Park
Our project encompassed both external and internal renovations of the Glasshouse, Palm House, and Conservatory. The scope of work included:
Timber, Masonry, and Repointing Works:
- Restoration of timber requiring repair.
- Repointing masonry as needed.
- Structural repairs to the primary structural timber elements.
Glazing Works:
- Removal and re-bedding of glass panes on the roofs and some walls.
Rainwater Goods:
- Removal, repair, cleaning, and redecoration of rainwater goods at both the front and back of the Palm House and Conservatory.
Internal Finishes:
- Re-wiring climbing wires in the Palm House.
- Repointing internal masonry.
- Render repairs to internal walls.
- Lime-washing the walls of the Palm House.
